It is very comfortably furnished with a spacious lounge with feature fireplace and hot/cold air-conditioning, making it an ideal get away throughout the year. Indeed the apartment has background heating and also gas fired The television in the lounge receives English language channels via the internet. The first bedroom has a double bed with en-suite bathroom and a patio door leading out onto a small section of rear terrace where you can enjoy shade. As this bedroom is at the rear of the property it is cool in the summer so has a standing fan rather than air conditioning. The kitchen has integrated units and is very well equipped, so if you like cooking you will find all you need to do so. There is a separate spacious dining room with fireplace which leads out onto a sunny south facing terrace. The Master bedroom has a King sized double bed, hot/cold air conditioning and It has an en-suite bathroom. There is plenty of wardrobe and storage space in the apartment. Outside, there are 2 south-facing terraces - one leading out from the lounge and the second from the dining room where you can relax or sunbathe whilst taking in the views over the pool and beautifully maintained gardens. The apartment is located within easy walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and amenities of Mijas village and has a parking space. If you choose not to rent a car then the bus stop is only across the road with its bus service between Mijas and Fuengirola and Arroyo de la Miel. Please note that the apartment is not considered suitable for children under 12 years of age.
Mijas is located only 30 kms from Malaga city. Driving towards the village, you climb a steep and windy road that cuts its way up to the village. Very quickly, you start getting glimpses of this typically Moorish and exceptionally beautiful white-washed village. The colourful plant pots brimming with bougainvillea, lavender and jasmine all add an extra dash of colour to this enchanting scene. Mijas was declared an Historic-Artistic village in 1969 and has been authentically preserved ever since.
Had a fantastic week in mijas in May staying at La Fuenta opposite BP garage. We had a problem with our original apartment with work being carried out. Joanne did a fantastic job sorting out an alternative apartment which saved and made our holiday.We will definately use Mijas Rentals and Sales for our future holidays in this beautiful village.Thanks again Joanne and her team.
We had another lovely week in Mijas Pueblo however we were disappointed with the apartment Casa Celia. It wasn't particularly clean, there was only one hand and one bath towel per person and after querying this we were told that is all they have to supply. The beds are very poor standard and mattresses and bedding need replacing urgently as do the towels. We actually bought towels. Suite is very old, patio furniture in urgent need of replacing, kitchen and ensuites very dated and in need of a refurb (1 light bulb working in kitchen) (husband had to tighten shower fitment and bath shower screen leaked all over the floor in ensuite). One of the residents Steven complained that we were hanging clothing on a maiden on our patio which we had no other choice as we did not have a key to the rear garden to access the washing lines and didn't have pegs either. He actually reported us to the Chairman of the Committee who visited us whilst we were sunbathing and after explaining our situation he told us he would contact Mijas Rentals who should have supplied the key etc. The property description states that it sleeps 8 but it has only 1 double bedroom and 1 very small double bedroom (which gets extremely hot even though it is at the rear of the property) therefore sleeps 4 and has 2 bathrooms not 3. All in all the property needs some TLC and a little money spending on it.
Very close to village and its amenities. Quiet at night. Lovely pool, garden and bbq area. Off road parking.
Found Steven to be very intrusive which put a dampener on our holiday. Property dated and in need of refurb.
