Penthouse apartment in Sierra Mar urbanization, with superb terraces, just 5 minutes' walk to the center of Mijas.
This holiday rental apartment is south facing, light and bright and enjoys panoramic sea views. The lounge is comfortably furnished with patio doors leading out onto a terrace. Half of the terrace can be enclosed in with glass curtains, whilst the other half has been left open for sunbathing. This terrace can be enjoyed almost as a second sitting room. The bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and patio doors leading out onto a second open terrace (also accessed from the lounge terrace).
The views are spectacular both day and night, with views over the coastline to the sea and the town of Fuengirola. Bathroom with bath and shower attachment. Kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob,microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. The communal pool is set within a good sized sunbathing area.
Please note that the property is in a small complex but there is no lift so it is not considered suitable for clients who have difficulty climbing stairs. Wi-Fi Internet available.

Mijas is located only 30 kms from Malaga city. Driving towards the village, you climb a steep and windy road that cuts its way up to the village. Very quickly, you start getting glimpses of this typically Moorish and exceptionally beautiful white-washed village. The colourful plant pots brimming with bougainvillea, lavender and jasmine all add an extra dash of colour to this enchanting scene. Mijas was declared an Historic-Artistic village in 1969 and has been authentically preserved ever since.
Pros:We had a terrific holiday in this lovely, spotless apartment in Mijas Pueblo. The location in the old part of the village suited us very well, not far to walk to the shops and restaurants and the views are wonderful. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need to make meals if you wish and the outside space is superb with a terrace off both the bedroom which has plenty of space for the sun loungers and the lounge which had the table and chairs for al fresco dining. However the glass curtained "conservatory" was a fantastic bonus, a lovely area to sit when the weather isn't so good and still be able to enjoy the wonderful views day and night all the way down to Fuengirola and the sea. We would certainly want to stay in this apartment when we return to Mijas. The Sierra Mar complex is very well looked after with a beautiful pool area, spotlessly clean. My only word of caution is that the apartment is up several flights of stairs and in a hilly part of the village so could be difficult for those with mobility issues.
