Holiday rental villa with breathtaking views and private swimming pool in Mijas.
The villas in and around Mijas are renowned for their stunning views - but these would be very difficult to beat! The villa is set in Las Lomas de Mijas, just five minutes' drive from Mijas village, and is accessed via a private gated road serving just six independent villas.
Set on one level , Casa de la Luz is immaculate and comprises of a spacious lounge, with fireplace, very light and bright, with patio doors leading out onto the paved garden area and pool. There is a beautiful Arabic dome in the entrance hall, and two double bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom and also has patio doors leading out to the garden area. The second bedroom has twin beds also has an en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle and patio doors out to the pool area. There is a guest cloakroom. The kitchen is well equipped. From every room of this property you can enjoy superb views either to the sea or the mountains. The villa is spacious - 200 M2 built with wonderful outside space. There is a kidney shaped private swimming pool, sun loungers , outside BBQ facilities, table and chairs for outside dining in the front patio area. There is in addition a roof terrace with table and chairs - choose to enjoy the spectacular views by day or sit with a glass of wine to watch the sun go down and the stars come out.

Mijas is located only 30 kms from Malaga city. Driving towards the village, you climb a steep and windy road that cuts its way up to the village. Very quickly, you start getting glimpses of this typically Moorish and exceptionally beautiful white-washed village. The colourful plant pots brimming with bougainvillea, lavender and jasmine all add an extra dash of colour to this enchanting scene. Mijas was declared an Historic-Artistic village in 1969 and has been authentically preserved ever since.
Pros:The villa is superb, very clean and functional. The owner, Simon is very responsive when we need anything. Ideal location for a peaceful holiday.

Pros:Second time staying at the villa and will have no hesitation to book again for my next visit to Mijas (hopefully next year!) Great location just on the outskirts of the main village though walking distance. The villa has everything you need and is well maintained. A lovely pool, being able to sit outside on roof terrace in the evening taking in the breathtaking views... it’s exactly the place you want stay to relax and have great time with friends and family.

Pros:What a lovely villa .... with all the creature comforts of home... There's a lovely light open plan Living area leading out to the beautiful patio and pool area... Couldn't fault it.. And the views from the roof terrace are unrivalled... You can sit there for hours just taking in the superb panoramic views... Can't wait to return..

Pros:Zalige villa! We waren super tevreden van de villa. Voorzien van alle faciliteiten, proper, goede locatie. Onze kinderen vonden het geweldig.

Pros:Denne skønne villa havde vi glæde af at bo i i 12 dage. Vi kunne godt finde på at komme igen. Alt fungerer....super lækkert med den private pool. Villaen har en god størrelse både til par, men også til større familier. Villaen en pæn ren og meget velholdt. Den ligger perfekt i forhold til både Fuengirola og Mijas Pueblo, hvor man hurtigt kan komme til i bil. Området omkring villaen er flot med udsigt til både hav og bjerge....og der er stille og roligt. Det var nemt og hurtigt med afhentning og aflevering af nøgler.....Joanne er sød og hjælpsom. Villaen får vores bedste anbefalinger.
